Wooden Churches

Objects of wooden sacral architecture as architectural treasures belong to outstanding historical monuments. In 1968, 27 wooden churches throughout Slovakia were declared the national cultural monument. In the region of Bardejov, there are 7 preserved and functional wooden churches standing at original place and two that have been transferred from original sites to the open air museum in Bardejovské Kúpele.
